(More customer reviews)This is high-end, heirloom quality furniture that will last for decades or more.It is HEAVY, solid oak; the craftsmanship is top-shelf, the hardware is solid, sturdy, high-end.Drawer slides are ball-bearing slides and drawers have oak fronts and the insides of the drawers are solid, dove-tailed cedar, not just cedar lined.The bed is easy to assemble and extremely solid.The chests and nightstands are larger than you would usually see, so measure to be sure that they will fit in your space.We have a pretty large bedroom, and the pieces we have fill it up, but we now have endless storage.We bought the Bed, chest, dresser, mirror, 2 of the 3 drawer nightstands and the blanket chest. The hardware is perfect, the wood is quartersawn and joined beautifully and the staining/finish is faultless, even on the slats of the headboard and the undersides of the pieces - I am absolutely thrilled with the furniture.

Local furniture stores will charge you MUCH more than this site. I must tell you that after spending this much money on a bedroom set, I was second-guessing myself - right up until we got the furniture and set it up.My kids will be handing this stuff down to their kids... it is THAT quality. We have an antique mission table and chairs and my sister has an antique mission buffet (both after our mom), and the quality and worksmanship are comparable, although these pieces use modern joinery in conjunction with the traditional. I have loved Mission style furniture since I was young and this is without question the only set I would compare with the antique furniture we have.None of the others I have seen (and I've seen a lot) come close.

If you're questioning the craftsmanship of this furniture, you can stop doubting.It's breath-taking.
